Abbas Merchant

Abbas Merchant is an accomplished banking executive and transformation leader with more than 25 years of experience driving growth, innovation, and customer engagement across financial services, management consulting, and consumer products industries. His expertise spans brand strategy, digital marketing, AI, analytics, customer experience, product development, performance marketing, and organizational transformation.

Most recently, Abbas served as Founder & CEO of i2a Advisors and Executive Managing Director at Prowess Data & AI, where he advised financial institutions and technology companies on data, AI enablement, and advanced marketing strategies. Prior to that, he served as Enterprise Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President for Regions Bank, leading the transformation of marketing into a modern, enterprise growth engine and helping drive significant growth through digital innovation, analytics, and customer-focused strategies.

Earlier in his career, Abbas held leadership positions with M&T Bank, U.S. Bank, and Scotts Miracle-Gro, where he built and scaled marketing, analytics, customer insights, and digital capabilities while delivering substantial business impact.

Abbas holds an MBA from Drexel University and a BBA from Temple University. He is also actively involved in leadership and community organizations and has served in advisory and board roles supporting education, analytics, and AI-focused organizations.
