Crystal Gopman is Chief Marketing Officer of Pinwheel, a customer activation platform that helps the world’s leading banks accelerate primacy and increase LTV. In this role Crystal is responsible for leading go-to-market activities, including Brand Strategy; Product Marketing; Events and sponsorships; Lead Generation; Media Relations and Sales Enablement. Crystal is a versatile marketing leader, having spent her career driving growth for iconic brands such as American Express, BlackRock and The Trade Desk. At The Trade Desk, Crystal led the team that launched Groundswell, a first-of-its-kind Digital Marketing Festival that convened over 20k virtual attendees for discussions on the future of marketing. Crystal also developed and executed TTD’s first global ConnectedTV campaign, responsible for driving 2x revenue growth within 6 months of launch. At BlackRock Crystal built a performance marketing organization from scratch and launched the award-winning iShares “Invest in something bigger” campaign, recognized for its category-busting story-telling approach. As an Executive at American Express, Crystal’s work to reinvigorate the value proposition of the Hilton Card was recognized by JD Powers as the “Top Hotel Co-Brand 2012.” Crystal also earned the American Express Pinnacle Award for exceptional leadership in 2013. Crystal grew up in Miami, Florida, and graduated with honors from The University of Miami. She currently resides in New York City with her two children, Ilan (13) and Asha (10). Crystal was named a “100 Women to Watch” by Brand Innovators in 2019, one of the “AdWeek Innovators” in 2020, serves on the Board of the RuddUR Dance Company, and volunteers as a mentor for The Allstars Project’s Development School for Youth
