Jon Ewing

Chief Marketing Officer

Jon Ewing is Chief Marketing Officer for Fitch Group. He oversees a global team in a number of shared service functions including Corporate Communications, Digital Strategy, Design & Creative, Events and a centralized Marketing Operations team who work closely with marketing functions embedded in Fitch’s operating companies.

Jon joined Fitch Group through the firm’s 2014 acquisition of BMI Research, where he was CTO & CMO. Prior to BMI, Jon was Personalisation Director at dunnhumby, where he spent two years working on the Tesco account amongst other roles.

Jon’s background is in IT, beginning his career as a software developer & working his way up to leading the R&D department for Mediasurface. He spent nearly three years in India setting up and running an off-shore development centre.

Jon has a degree in Philosophy & Mathematics from the University of Bristol and a Masters in Cognitive Science from the University of Edinburgh.
