Eric Hazard is a communications veteran specializing in fintech, payments, market infrastructure and capital markets. During his communications career, he has worked with the most recognizable brands in financial services to identify target markets, launch new products and bring a clearer focus on the value proposition through brand development. He is also the CEO of Vested Ventures, the corporate venture fund of Vested, which makes investment allocations to a portfolio of emerging fintech companies creating a more inclusive financial system by improving financial access, financial participation and financial literacy.
Eric began his career at Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor and later worked in the corporate treasury department at Michaels Stores and at Asset International, publishers of Plan Sponsor, Plan Adviser and Global Custodian, as a journalist and publisher. Eric holds a certificate in Fintech from MIT and was the host of the video series Focus on Fintech.
